导读：最新研究显示，如果携带有能够控制血液中乙醇氧化反应的合适基因，适度饮酒者就可以显著降低心脏病发作危险。同时，其血液中高密度脂蛋白(HDL)的含量也将明显升高。
最新研究显示，如果携带有能够控制血液中乙醇氧化反应的合适基因，适度饮酒者就可以显著降低心脏病发作危险。同时，其血液中高密度脂蛋白(HDL)的含量也将明显升高。
哈佛公共卫生学院的流行病学研究人员在该项研究中发现，就编码为合成乙醇脱氢酶3 (ADH3)的特殊基因(可以控制乙醇在血液中的氧化反应)而言，其具有两种基因型-“慢作用ADH3”基因型和“快作用ADH3”基因型。
研究人员指出，携带后者的适度饮酒者要比携带前者的人具有明显的心血管保护功能优势HDL含量升高之外，这些慢氧化者心脏病发作的危险可以减少86%。
有关专家指出，通常都认为适度饮酒之所以可以降低患心脏疾病的危险是因为酒精能够升高HDL的含量，但本项研究却表明这可能只是其中的部分原因，否则仅从HDL升高是无法全部解释的。因此其它影响到酒精代谢速率的因素也可能具有一定的作用，甚至酒精本身也与这类心血管保护效应有关。
